The Camden County BackPack Buddies program is up and running. Join me in thanking our first team of civilian and military volunteers that, today - 8 April 2024, completed sorting and bagging food to be delivered to three local Camden County Schools on Thursday for distribution on Friday. During the next six weeks, kid-friendly food will vary based on feedback and availability. For program information, including how to volunteer and how to donate to maintain the program, go to https://helpingneighbors.weebly.com/k-12-student-food-assistance.html
Thank you to those pictured and the dozens of partners and volunteers behind the scenes! For school year 2024-2025, starting in August and subject to individual and group donations, our goal is to service children in need at all twelve Camden County Schools (K12). |
